Happy 1st birthday, Miguel Ignacio!!

Hey y’all!

In an effort to make good on my promise to blog more, I wanted to share a HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY tribute to our sweet baby boy, Miguel Ignacio! Although I haven’t been super active on the blog over the past year, I did manage to get in a quick introduction post back when he was born- you can check out his sweet, sweet, birth story here.

UNBELIEVEABLE that an entire year of sweet Miggy goodness has passed! He has grown to capture my whole heart, as well as his Papi’s, sister’s, and brothers’. We are all enamored with this sweet, skinny goodness that is wrapped up in our Miggy Iggy!

At one year old, Miggy can:

• walk in short spurts
• crawl with the best of them
• go up the stairs
• try to come down the stairs
• stand solo
• scream like a banshee
• shay mama, papa, hey
• has 8 teeth
• loves to say “yeeeeeeeeey” when he is happy
• nurses on demand still but eats lots of food, too
• first baby to flat out never take a bottle- hence the nursing on demand when I’m not at work

This sweet baby has kept us on our toes in the best way possible, and makes us laugh every single day. I love his sweet snuggles, the way he only wants me sometimes, and the way he shares his snuggles freely other times. I love his silly fake laugh and his silly fake cry. I love his barely-there light brown hair and his big brown eyes. I love that he looks just like his Papi, and that he has so many little chompers. Needless to say, I’m obsessed with this little man and he is exactly the reason I’d have a million kids if I could!
