We are in the thick of summer, but the holiday season will be here before you know it. You do not want to have a repeat of last year, frantically searching for gifts at the last minute. Thankfully, we have you covered. Last year we told you about our recommended fits. From pajamas to cookbooks here are some of the cheapest holiday gifts to show how much you appreciate the ones you love.
Frame Their Favorite Poster
Did you find a great poster that would fit well with your loved ones’ decor or do they have a favorite musician? Instead of giving them a basic poster, take it a step extra and frame it for them. They will be so happy that you were thoughtful enough to even get the poster let alone have it framed. You can easily find something of interest online through many digital boutique stores and digital artists.
Kitchen Tools
You can never go wrong with kitchen tools, especially if your loved one you are gifting has moved into a new home or apartment. Take the worry off of their shoulders. Stocking up a new kitchen with all the tools you need can be time consuming and expensive. Consider shopping for some kitchen tools like a can opener, potato peeler, garlic press or a pastry cutter just to name a few. Your loved one will love you for it.
Holiday Pajamas
Since we have all been at home more often, loungewear may be at the top of their list. Do them a solid and consider gifting this gift that keeps on giving. Gifting pajamas will give them comfort and warmth during the holiday season. You can go with specific holiday-themed pajamas, you can buy some for the whole family and wear them for a family photo, or you can even buy some to throw an ugly holiday pajama party.
Scented Candles
Give the gift of aromatherapy with a nice scented candle. You can pick from scents like lavender, eucalyptus, or lemongrass just to name a few. If those scents do not fit your fancy, you can go for those holiday scents cinnamon, pine, chestnuts, or apply pie. Putting one of these candles on will give your home the holiday cheer. There is nothing better than a sweet-smelling house during the holidays.
A Journal Or Notebook
This is a perfect gift for the writer in your life. They can never have too many journals or notebooks. Shop for one that is really nice. Maybe it is lined in leather or maybe it is inscribed on the front with their name. Take it up a notch and leave a thoughtful note in the first few pages of the journal. That way you are not just gifting them something impersonal. The note adds that personal factor that comes when you gift someone from the heart. The note can say anything you like. Tell them how much you appreciate them, tell them how much you care and how grateful you are to have them in your life.
