Hey y’all, and Happy Sunday.
Let me tell y’all a little story. Mama’s a cheapskate. Cheapo. Frugal. Doesn’t like to spend much money. It is what it is. Call me what you want, I won’t get my feelings hurt!
So when I was having a little mid-life crisis this summer with my post-baby #3 bod, grey roots coming through, and not having any clothes to fit into, I caved and had a mini-shopping-spree for fashionable mama clothes. Now, this shopping spree consisted of about 5 things from TJMaxx, so it was still probably under $100, but hey, I splurged.
Unfortunately, this cute dusty blue romper I had bought didn’t quite fit, so back in the bag it went to head back to the store. Well, life happens, and my window for returns passed. I decided to give it another try, and what do you know! Thanks to keto, the romper fits!
So, I hung it up in the bathroom near the shower, along with the towels and robes to steam out some of the wrinkles (should have just used my Dryel here, but hey, lesson learned). Little Mr. Tino decided it looked enough like a towel, or was hanging just the right height, and decided to wipe his little toothpaste mouth allll over the leg of my cute-but-cheap romper! OH NO!
So, being the cheapo that I am, I can’t bring myself to dry clean a $19 romper… just doesn’t make sense! Luckily, I have my Dryel at home dry cleaning kit! All I have to do is spray on the Stain Removing spray, throw it in a dry cleaning bag by itself or with other clothes, throw in the dry cleaning sheet, and pop it in the dryer!
And what do you know, my perfect dusty blue romper that finally fits is now stain-free, wrinkle-free, and I saved money by not going to the dry cleaner- this cheapo mama is one happy lady! I even got to wear this great romper out last night to a surprise birthday party, and of course, forgot to snap a single picture!
The Cost Savings
Just think about it. The Dryel At Home Dry Cleaning Kit is only $9.99 and contains the patented Dryel Fabric Care Bag and four cleaning cloths to clean up to 20 items, plus the Dryel Stain Pen and a bottle of the brand’s signature Odor and Wrinkle Releaser. If you do the math, that’s only $0.50 per piece, versus at least $2 per piece if you take it to a dry cleaner! Save money AND time AND not have to load all 3 little ones into the car for a trip to the dry cleaner? YES PLEASE!
And, because I am a cheap-o at heart, you know those savings are giving me all the heart eyes! I can continue to take care of my $20 outfits without spending just as much to keep them dry cleaned!
Have you had a chance to try out Dryel’s At Home Dry Cleaning Kit for yourself? Would love to hear your results!
XO,
Amanda
