As you may have seen on last week’s Friday Love List, I am lucky enough to be married to a pretty great cook, among other endearing qualities, of course 😉 But my stomach is growling so let’s focus on the food for now! For years, he’s been whipping up concoctions and creations based on what we have in the kitchen, and happily filling the bellies of others around him. Every time I post a food picture (and this is not an exaggeration), people comment asking for the recipe. So finally, he made it happen. Mr. R built a space to house all of his delicious creations, because writing them in a journal and trying to type them up for each interested person just wasn’t going to cut it any more. And thus, his newest baby, El Moodie Foodie was born.
Now, El Moodie Foodie is not JUST a food blog. Another of his talents, besides hosting ultimate living room dance parties, is writing, a passion he has had for years. So you’ll notice that when you visit El Moodie Foodie, you’re not just getting a recipe, you’re getting a story, a glimpse into our lives, and usually, a great video to help you through the recipe.
Now obviously, I love everything that El Moodie Foodie cooks for me. Not only are his recipes delicious, but they are made with so much thought, care, and love, that everything is thought out, down to the seasonings and marinades. Nothing is done on accident or on a whim. Every flavor pairs perfectly together.
Here’s a little more about what El Moodie Foodie really is, straight from the cook’s mouth!
So, I wanted to share some of my favorite El Moodie Foodie recipes here in one place. Of course, he just started, so there are many more to come, but for those of you just getting to know the blog and looking for some fun new recipes, consider pinning these for later! Some are Keto friendly, but really that just means we steer clear of carbs and sugar!
