Friday Love List: April 7, 2017 *Disney World Edition*

Hey guys!

So, we are at the tail end of our Disney Trip (sighhhh) and already feeling withdrawals. We don’t leave till Sunday (thank goodness!) but are definitely seeing it come to an end.

As always, it’s been an amazing trip!! I feel like every time we come, we learn more and try new things, and it’s just been so much fun! Besides a few new things we’ve found this year, it’s also great because Tino is older and is having a lot of fun, too!

Like I said, we’ve found a few “hidden gems” that we are absolutely loving, so I’m dedicating my Friday Love List to Disney World this week!

  • Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (Princess character dinner): This restaurant in The Netherlands in Epcot is such a hidden gem because it houses a whopping FIVE princesses that come around to meet your little ones, take pictures, and sign autograph books! That’s 5 lines you get to skip later! The food was realllly good, too! It was a cold salad bar buffet plus a plated dinner. Check out our dinner pictures below! Dinner was $57/person, but that depends on the season as well. To us, it was well worth it and comparably priced to other character dinners.

  • Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique: For those of you that don’t know, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a princess boutique in Cinderella’s castle where little ones get made over into the princess of their choice. We took the girls this time for the first time this year and absolutely loved BBB!!! It was such a great experience and the girls felt like princesses! They have packages ranging from $60 – $200 so you can pick just what’s the right fit for you! The basic package (what we did) included hair (the child gets to pick between 3 hairstyles), makeup, nails, and of course, lots of fairy dust 😉 Then, you get to keep all of the samples they used on the girls and a drawstring bag! I’m planning to write a whole feature on BBB to explain it all in more detail, so look out for that! Friday Love List: Disney World EditionFriday Love List: Disney World Edition
  • Frozen Ever After ride (Epcot): The new Frozen ride is taking the world by storm (only being a little dramatic!) and lives at an 80 – 120 minute wait time. While I’m not convinced that it is worth that long of a wait, it is definitely AWESOME! It’s essentially a boat ride, so while not all that thrilling, the special effects and visuals are amazing, the songs will keep your prince or princess singing the whole time, and there are some unexpected surprises, too!! We loved it!!

  • Moana!!! I hadn’t heard anything about her being here yet, so finding it that she was in the One Man’s Dream drawing studio inside Hollywood Studios was a HUGE surprise for the girls (and us!!) we had such a fun time meeting her, and her area is awesome. The wait was only 40 minutes, but that was early on a weekday morning- I’m sure it gets longer!

I’ll definitely be keeping a running list of any other “hidden gems” we run into throughout the week!

My kid is only 9 months, but suddenly I need to go.
I’ve been to Disney when I was a kid. Our family had season passes and lived in Orlando, so we used to go all the time! It’s changed soooooo much since then. I’m a little jealous that we don’t live in Orlando, but i so need to convince the husband to go asap!

Disney is DEFINITELY something I can’t wait for my children to experience. I didn’t get to go as a kid, so living the wonder and awe through them will truly be magical.
