Friday Love List: March 24, 2017

Hey y’all!

It’s FRI-YAY!! Y’all… I don’t know if it’s because Disney is coming up or what, but I feel like time lately has been passing reeeeally slowly… anyone else? Anyway, I am so so glad this week has finally come to an end and am so excited for the weekend!

Here are a few things I’m loving right now…

Curling Iron Wand

I recently got a 1 – 1 1/2 inch Remington Tapered Curling Iron Wand after getting my hair done and having it look like the picture above. I loved it and knew I had to get one, so I headed to Target to grab one immediately! Here’s a similar one. If you want to try this look, grab thick chunks and wrap them one and a half times (otherwise, you’ll get the Shirley Temple look if you have short hair!)

Our New Back Deck

It’s hard to tell in the picture below, but it’s the best I have. Our deck was originally built  only going about half way across the house, and we didn’t have any stairs to be able to get downstairs. We knew we wanted to extend the deck, paint it, and build stairs going down, and we finally were able to! I’m obsessed with the new deck and can’t wait to spend all Spring and Summer out there! We also added a pavement patio underneath, so we can have a table underneath the deck for when the kids are in the backyard!

Magic Mount

So, we have this great stone chimney and mantle in our family room, but the only negative was that it is SO TALL!! So our TV was almost reaching the ceiling! It was really hard to watch tv on the sofa (first world problems, I know!) but we just got this awesome Magic Mount that lets us pull the tv down to a more normal height, and it’s so much better now.
