Hey y’all!
You know that feeling, when you look around at your nice new house, and you love the look you’ve given the place, and you continue until BAM! All your kids’ artwork is cluttering the fridge, giving your new home that nice “family” feel (aka kids own this place). No, just me?
Well, if you are like me and can’t stand to part with any of the 523 scribbled drawings your little one has presented you with “because they love you” but you also are tired of kid art ruling your home, I’ve got the perfect solution for you: The Keepy App! The Keepy App, a new app that I can’t seem to close out of (ever) is basically a portable scrapbook for parents everywhere who want to save and treasure all their kids’ art, pictures, and memories, and do so in one safe place!
Check out my video review of the Keepy App!
The Keepy App works in just a few simple steps but has a world of possibilities. Here’s what to do:
- Download The Keepy App at http://www.keepy.me
- Register your kids (each kid can have his/her own account to keep individual art and photos)
- Upload images and videos
- **WARNING: THIS IS AWESOME: Record video or voice notes about each memory! In the example below, you can see that I uploaded a picture of Anissa at gymnastics, and then I had her tell me what was going on in the picture (the headphones)
Voice/Video Recording on memories
Like I was saying, once you’ve uploaded memories, pictures, and more, you can have your little one (or you) talk about those memories in a video or voice message. I especially love this because in a year, when they’ve changed so much, it will be sweet to listen back to their little voices!
Milestones
At first, I was thinking I wouldn’t be able to use this much for Tino. However, once I got set up and got to play around with it, I noticed The Keepy App is perfect for sharing any milestones, like first steps, birthdays, and even park days (which we have tons of!) I love this use of it, because I am the world’s worst memory book-er.
Order Photo Gifts: Perfect for Mother’s Day!
Another amazing feature of The Keepy App is your ability to order photo gifts like photobooks, mugs, magnets, puzzles, and more directly from The Keepy Store! Don’t worry about downloading images and uploading them to another site. Once they are in The Keepy App, it is SO easy to just click on the cart and figure out which gifts would be perfect! I actually ordered a mug and a metal magnet. and it literally took me about 3 minutes, start to finish. Imagine how easy Mother’s Day shopping could be this year if you did it all through this unique app!
Other Fun Features
Once you’ve gotten the hang of The Keepy App, you’ll realize there is so much more to it than you originally though. With the unlimited package ($5.49/month) you are able to upload and save unlimited numbers of pictures, videos, and recordings. You can, of course, visit The Keepy Store, but you can also add fans, share images/recordings directly from the app to your social media, and even invite grandparents to the app.
This app really is all you would ever need for photo storage. I know for me, once I got my Keepy account up and running, and uploaded all of the art, pictures, and videos I had on my camera roll, I was able to delete nearly 500 pictures from my camera roll, freeing up my storage BIG TIME! I really do love this app and definitely plan to keep using it in the future, especially when Tino begins drawing and cluttering the fridge x2 😉
Make sure to follow Keepy on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube!
XO,
Amanda
