Holidays

My Funny Valentines!

Hey y’all!

Hope you all have a love-filled Valentine’s Day! I know we all did. Gosh- I just love love love this holiday!

As you all probably saw, we started out our Valentine’s Day celebrations a little early with the Chick-Fil-A Daddy Daughter Date Night two weekends ago. So ever since then, Anissa literally hasn’t stopped talking about Valentine’s Day and going on dates (lol). Here are a few pictures from that awesome date night. And, to make it 3 times cuter, my brothers-in-law took their daughters, too, so the three primas/BFFs got to go on their first triple date {swoon!}

Cele said that the event was fantastic! The tables were set with placemats, menus, flowers, and silverware, and employees came around to take their orders. The girls came home with roses, and Anissa talked about it for days!!!
Valentine's Day

Yesterday, to celebrate the actual Valentine’s Day (because Anissa insisted we had already had Valentine’s Day and it was over) I set up a bench for of surprises for them to wake up to, which they loved! It’s crazy what a few chocolates and a couple of Dollar Spot items can do! I got Cele lots of dark chocolate (which is all he will eat- crazy, huh!?), a DSW gift card for new shoes, and he got himself a food processor LOL.

Anissa got Shopkins chocolate, a number and counting card game, and a Moana mailbox with stickers. Tino got a box of baseball chocolates and a counting dog toy.

I was also able to snag these cute V-Day outfits at Carter’s the day before Valentine’s Day on clearance! Double win!! Anissa’s top was $4.99 and Tino’s outfit was $8.99. Mom of the year 😉

The kids were with my dad all day (he watches them once a week) so I got lots of cute pictures of them in their Valentine’s Day outfits all day! They got lots of Tito snuggles! When we got home from work, Cele had dinner on the table- broccoli cheddar soup that was to.die.for!! He surprised me with two new iWatch bands and some workout gloves, since I’ve started working out again recently.

We played and laughed and spent time together, and I said I’d let the kids stay up, but they were worn out! They took a long bath (one of their favorite things to do together) and they were out. It’s funny how much Valentine’s Day is now focused on the kids instead of Cele and I!

You better believe Anissa woke up asking for candy, though 😉 All in all, it was a fantastic day filled with extra love and smooches!!

How was your Valentine’s Day?

XO,

Amanda
