Happy Valentine’s Day!! {+ a Giveaway!}

Happy Valentine’s Day!!

What a fun day it has been already! I absolutely love Valentine’s Day and so does my little family. Anissa woke up excited to put on her Valentine’s Day shirt and see what surprises were awaiting her, and I couldn’t help but oblige! Ever since Christmas, she’s been really into the idea of coming downstairs to surprises, so I set up all the Valentine’s Day gifts on a bench that’s right at the end of the stairs, because I knew it would be the first thing she saw!

This year, I was so excited to have found a super unique gift in the Lulu Publishing Valentine’s Day Book Origami, and ended up getting one for the kids to share and one for Cele. Lulu Publishing, a leader in the self-publishing space, has created a series (9 total) of origami books for Valentine’s Day, but I actually think they are perfect to show your love any day throughout the year.

 

I went with the “I Only Have Eyes 4 You” version for Cele because I thought the glasses like his were too cute! I got the “Love Stamp” version for the kiddos because I loved that it had blue and pink for each of them. It took a little bit to create the books but the simple guides helped me become an origami pro in no time! I plan to use these to write love notes to Cele throughout the year, and to continue writing (shorter versions) of my Letters To My Little Ones for the babies. I love these journals though, because with the blank pages, you can really use them for whatever you want! Even if they just sit up on the shelf, they still look adorable!
