Hi everyone,
Now that Baby Tino is eating and snacking, he has eyes on EVERYTHING… not joking- he stalks your food all the way from plate to fork to mouth. And one of those things he stalks is me…meaning, if I try to put him down to cook, do dishes, etc., he is not happy. So, we put toys on his high chair to keep him entertained, but I’ve been itching for the time to come when he could start snacking in his high chair, since I knew that would keep him busy. And, he’s finally ready! So we headed off to Wal Mart, where we found new Gerber® Lil’ Beanies(TM) snacks, Gerber’s new baked snack made with beans. Yum! And, something he can hold on to himself. Lil’ Beanies(TM) come in two flavors, Original and White Cheddar & Broccoli… and thanks to these bad boys, my cooking looks a little bit different (in a good way!!)
Yep. once Baby Tino figured out he could dump over the container and *gasp* put them in his mouth, he was a happy, happy boy, and I was a calm mama that was able to cook on my own without a baby vying for my attention (ok, let’s be real, two babies!) I just love that they allow him to feed himself with minimal mess- making snack time a happy time for both of us.
We picked up the Gerber® Lil’ Beanies(TM) snacks at Wal Mart, where we do most of our grocery shopping. I found them in the baby department, and had to grab one of each… you know, in case I have to sneak a few, or whatever. 😉 The aisle was packed with so many good snacking options, but I loved that Lil’ Beanies(TM), the first bean-based snack in the baby aisle, is made from the goodness of navy beans and provides protien, finer and Vitamin E to my boy! He loved the taste, and I love the healthy benefits!
I mean, can you tell that this kid is 5 months going on 5 years? He is so so ready to be a big kid already, which is probably why he loved the snacks so much! It’s a win-win! Now he gets to snack while I cook, and I get to feel good about the snacks I’m giving him!
Bonus- Gerber® Lil’ Beanies(TM) snacks are so good, Anissa couldn’t keep her hands off them, either! Sneaky girl! Bottom line, these bad boys were a huge hit in our house, and we’ll definitely be buying them again next time we are at Wal Mart!!
