Hey everyone!
Crazy to think that Christmas 2015 has already come and gone, right? We hosted Christmas Eve this year with 2 of Mr. R’s brother’s and their families, and we had such an amazing time! And, as you may remember, I bragged about how easy the cooking was going to be thanks to a Fully Prepared Meal from Sprouts. So, was I right?
To be honest, the fully prepared Rib Roast meal from Sporuts was probably the best decision we could have made! Everything in the box was cooked and just needed to be heated up, so prep was a sinch. The rib roast took about 2 and a half hours in the oven, but other than that, the sides were 10 minutes in the microwave each, and ta-da, Christmas dinner was served.
If you don’t remember, our box included a rib roast, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts and Hawaiian rolls, which were supposed to feed 6-8. We were cooking for six adults, one kid, and two toddlers, so of course, not wanting to run out of food, we made a couple more sides and a ham *just in case*. Check out our spread below:
Well, much to our surprise, the box itself would have been MORE than enough, so Sprouts really does mean what they say on serving sizes! We ended up having SO.MUCH.FOOD. leftover, but better to be safe than sorry!
Here are a couple more pictures of the meal… so stinking delicious!!
If you are interested in ordering one of these meals from Sprouts to help ring in the New Year, they are still taking orders for pick-up through Dec. 31. And, you could pick it up early and keep it in the refrigerator for a few days, too! To order, visit Sprouts’ website.
Enjoy and Happy New Years!
XO,
Amanda

December 28, 2015 at 9:43 pmThis all looks delicious but the real question is does Sprouts have black beans and rice, yucca, and fried plantains? 🙂
