Hey everyone!
Time for your mouths to water…. it’s a Mr. R cooking post!
We all know I’m no Anthony Bourdain, but my husband sure is close! So, when Goya reached out and asked if we’d be interested in trying out a few of their new products, including Adobo Lite seasoning, Goya Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Frozen Yuca, I of course offered it up to Mr. R and he was pumped!
Then, we (he) got down to business! What to create with his new tools? A go-to for him is pork, so he seasoned the pork with the Adobo Lite, Goya Olive Oil, and a little Goya Sazon, which is a staple in our house.
Once seasoned, he sauteed the pork. Perfection, as seen below. The seasonings really brought out the natural flavors of the pork, and it.was.delicious.
He also used the olive oil and Adobo Lite to season some sauteed veggies that went alongside the pork.
If this isn’t true beauty, I don’t know what is! Dinner made delicious, courtesy of Goya!
Pile it all into a burrito, and dinner is served!
Now, you may notice that one item that I mentioned is missing- the Frozen Yuca. We’ll be serving that up to you in a very special solo post coming up soon! We’re eyeballing two of Goya’s very own recipes to decide which to make first- Yuca with Garlic Sauce or Mashed Yuca. So be on the lookout for one or both of those posts soon!
Speaking of recipes, how amazing is Goya for being a hub for recipes? I love that they have an entire section of their website, appropriately named Recipes, to help you figure out what should end up on your table!
For more recipes and ideas from Goya, follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest!
Help me decide- which Yuca recipe should we try? Which Goya product would YOU love to try?
XO,
Amanda
