Hey everyone!
So, as any of you parent/aunt/uncle/anyone who is every around kids knows, feeding a baby is messy, involved, and just plain hard work. Add on top of that the time you spend making the baby food, if that’s your thing, and you’re probably pooped before you’ve even given Lil Bit the first bite.
But I’ve found an awesome solution to all the hassle and bustle in this newest product I fell in love with! The Little Green Pouch is an awesome feeding system that combines the ease of squeeze pouch foods with homemade baby food-making.
The Little Green Pouch is a reusable pouch that allows you to fill the pouch with whatever baby food you’ve whipped up. Or, it’s also a great solution to switch over your pre-made baby food from a package and a spoon, making mealtime much easier when you are going out to eat or will be out and about.
The Little Green Pouch comes in two sizes- 3.4 oz. for the newly-minted solid eaters, and 7 oz. for the bigger kids. All you have to do is wash it, pop it open and fill it to the pre-determined line, then zip it closed just like a ziplock bag. The pouches are durable, lasting up to 50 uses! At $14.99 for a 4-pack of 7 oz. pouches or $16.99 for a 6-pack of 3.4 oz pouches, these are a great money-saving option compared to store-bought pouches, plus, YOU decide what goes in. It doesn’t get much better than that.
So, are there any downsides to these pouches? Well, in my experience, you need to make sure to rinse these out really well as soon as the baby finishes the food. If you let it sit, the food gets stuck in all the little crevices, making it really hard to clean them out. They are dishwasher safe though, so that’s good!
I think these would make the perfect baby shower gift! What do you think? Make sure you Like Little Green Pouch on Facebook and Follow on Twitter!
XO,
Amanda
