With Thanksgiving being this week (HOLY WHAT?!) that means Christmas and the holidays are right around the corner. Family has been asking what Anissa wants for Christmas, and it’s really helped kick me into high gear for shopping and planning.

I love that almost every page includes her name, because I know as a kid I would have LOVED that and probably would have thought I was famous. The illustrations are beautiful, and the message is the best part. Can I just say that this book makes my teacher heart so happy, and makes my mommy heart explode?
