Hey everyone,
As promised in The Nursery Diaries: Part 1, I’m so excited to be sharing our progress on Baby R’s nursery, every step of the way!
During Atlanta’s Snowpocalypse last week, we were able to make so much progress on Anissa’s nursery. It had been the storage space for all the other rooms’ belongings for so long, we had forgotten what the room looked like!
So Step 1 was clearing everything out, which took a day on its own. We moved most everything from this room to the hall bathroom (Mr. R has some mad organizational skills/the ability to jigsaw everything perfectly together!)
Step 2 was starting on the furniture. We did one piece per day, just to not burn out. We ended up doing the crib, rocker and dresser, and I am absolutely in love with all of it!!

A quick view of all the furniture in the nursery
The picture above is a view of all the furniture. It’s a bit deceptive though, because the room is so much bigger than this. To the left of all this furniture, there’s a much bigger area where we are going to put a large rug and a toy chest, so she can have a play area in her room. The area where her furniture is is actually just a little nook off the room. It’s confusing, but hopefully we can get some good pictures soon to explain it all!
We also started putting together her closet, but it was way too messy to show you guys 😉 The next projects will be hanging the art we have for her, finding a rug and toy chest, and organizing the closet and drawers! Can’t wait to show you guys more!
XO,
Amanda
