Goodbye 2nd trimester, hello 3rd! That’s right folks- we are in the home stretch of baby cooking in the Rodriguez household!
According to my app, Baby Girl is about 15 inches long and weighs about 2.5 pounds, making her the size of a head of cauliflower (and the cutest little cauliflower I’ve ever seen!)
We have a 3D/4D ultrasound today, so I can’t wait to share pictures of her! Last time we got a 3D/4D sneak peek she was a bit alien-ish, so I’m hoping she’s filled out a bit 😉

27 weeks!
I’ve been feeling surprisingly good- jus a bit more tired and slow, but hey, that’s to be expected, right? Miss Anissa is a big time kicker- I absolutely love feeling her, and luckily Mr. R has been getting to feel her lots, too!
We were supposed to have our last monthly appointment last week, as well as my glucose test, but since Atlanta went through Snowpocalypse last week, my appointment was cancelled and rescheduled for next week. So, we’ll do the glucose test then, and start going to the doctor every other week, until 36 weeks when it becomes weekly. It’s getting real! We also put up all of her nursery furniture last week while we were snowed in, so we’re making progress in being prepared for her! We’re almost done with our Childbirth prep class, too, and will be doing a Breastfeeding class next week.
I’ve also been feeling lots of Braxton Hicks contractions lately- nothing bad or scary, just the usual (from what I hear). But they are definitely getting me more anxious for the real thing!
I’ll post some 3D pictures soon!
XO,
Amanda
