Hey everyone,
So, as most of you know, we’ve long been fans of our favorite Supper Club, PushStart Kitchen. Well, our good friends Zach and Cristina have closed the doors to PushStart and opened the doors to Better Half, their newest baby!
We visited Better Half, which I might add was funded by their fans through KickStarter, for the first time last Friday during their Friends and Family preview weekend, and holy amazingness! I mean, it’s just like PushStart Kitchen, but you actually get to choose from a wider variety of options, and you can go as many times as you’d like! It’s a quaint and cozy restaurant, moving up from the 18 seats at PushStart to about 40 seats now. With that being said, I’d make sure to make a reservation before heading out, which can easily be done online!
Here are a couple of pictures of the amazing food options. My dinner (the first picture) was silk handkerchief pasta, wild mushroom confit, tomato marmalade, porcini cream. The other two were a pork dish with sweet potatoes and a steak with potato dumplings. Better Half will be serving alcohol in January, but until then, it’s BYOB.
You can visit Better Half online at http://betterhalfatl.com/, onTwitter, Facebook, Instagram, make reservations online and see the menu online!
Hours:
- Tues-Thurs – 5:30p-10:00p
- Fri-Sat – 5:30p-11:00p
- Sun-Mon – Closed
And now, straight from the mouths of the owners: “BETTER HALF is the restaurant that Atlanta built. Brought to you by Zach and Cristina Meloy, the couple behind the supper club PushStart Kitchen, BETTER HALF is a place where family is our inspiration and connecting over food is our focus. The ever-changing, seasonal menu will reflect our love for what we do through the best products the South has to offer. We look forward to feeding you soon!”
Visit Better Half at 349 14th St. Bldg. C Atlanta, GA 30318.
Enjoy!
XO,
Amanda
