Hi everyone!
One of my favorite things to do these days is daydream, plan, shop and think of our baby. So naturally, we couldn’t wait to start planning out the nursery. We already know what we want in our minds, but actually getting to start putting the nursery together now is making it all so real.
Like I said, we already knew what we wanted, and gender isn’t an issue because we are doing a gender neutral nursery that can hopefully carry over for each of our babies to use. Here’s a list of qualities we knew we wanted in a nursery:
- Colors: Caramel, mocha, ivory, white, with a sprinkle of blue or pink. We’ve already had the walls painted caramel and the crown molding white.
- Birdcages: We’ve bought a few ivory birdcage picture frames that we think will be perfect on the walls.
- Overall feel: We are wanting a vintage-y feel for the room, maybe with a little shabby chic thrown in.
- Furniture: We THINK we want to go with a weathered white look. We found a convertible crib we love (see below) and will be using our bedroom furniture and refinishing it to match the crib.
INSPIRATION: Keep scrolling to see some of the looks we love that have inspired our vision for the nursery!
Target: Here’s the crib we love!

Obviously, these are just a few ideas to help ya’ll get a feel for what we are going for. I’ll be sure to post our final product here as soon as we are done with the nursery!
What do you think of these looks? What look did you go with for a nursery?
XO,
Amanda
