*Review + Giveaway* The Omni Diet by Tana Amen

Hi everyone, and happy Wednesday!

You may remember a few months ago I reviewed and gave away a copy of the book, Unleash the Power of the Female Brain, by Dr. Daniel Amen. Well, his wife, Tana Amen, BSN, RN, has ALSO written a book, called The Omni Diet, which I am thrilled to now be sharing with you all, and again offering a chance to win a copy!

What is The Omni Diet, you may ask? The Omni Diet is Tana’s revolutionary 70% Plant + 30% protein program aimed to lose weight, reverse disease, fight inflammation and basically change your life. Tana spent her life dealing with chronic medical ailments like digestive issues, recurrent infections and even a battle with thyroid cancer in her early 20s. So, she devoted herself to coming up with a way to thrive, which is what The Omni Diet aims to do.

So why 70/30? Tana  mixes a majority of illness-fighting, plant-based foods that hold the key to reversing chronic illness, with a balance of calorie-burning protein to make this diet work for almost anyone who wants to improve their quality of live. This diet can also optimize brain function, which I trust is true, given that she’s married to a brain doctor and all!

Need more of a reason to give The Omni Diet a shot? Even Dr. Oz, MD believes in it, saying, “The Omni Diet is a thoughtful, practical approach to eating. Discover delicious, wholesome food that benefits your health for good.”

Now for the good stuff! One lucky reader will win a copy of the book and all you have to do is enter via Rafflecopter below, and I will announce the winner on Thursday, May 29! Good luck!

I recently made a decision to make a change in my diet. I’m not sure what the percentages are but there’s a lot more green and less breads. It’s making a difference. Lost 7 lbs. so far and my clothes are fitting again. I hope this book can make a difference especially for those that are ill.
