Oh. Em. Gee.
We made the most delish dessert the other day, and I just had to shout it from the rooftops (of my blog, of course!)
So, for those of you who know Mr. R, you’ve probably heard him go on and on about Biscoff cookie spread. Haven’t heard of it? It’s heaven in your mouth. You know those little cookies Delta gives you on your flights? The ones that always leave you wanting more, but feeling too ashamed or greedy to ask the stewardess for more? Well, they make them in a spread. Think cookie-flavored peanut butter. Times a million amazings.
Here’s what Biscoff looks like. It comes in Crunch and Smooth, just like the real stuff. You can usually find it with the Peanut Butter at Walmart, Publix or Kroger, though I will admit the Crunchy is much harder to find!
Anyway, I was looking for something to surprise Mr. R with for dessert the other night, and I happened upon a blog that had made a milkshake using Cookie Butter from Trader Joe’s, which I assume is along the same lines as Biscoff, and I knew our fate had been sealed. We didn’t have ice cream, though, so I didn’t follow that recipe completely, and instead, went for my own!
Here’s what you need:
- 1/2 cup Biscoff (more if you want a more rich flavor)
- 1 1/2 frozen bananas (or 1 1/2 regular bananas + ice cubes)
- 1 cup of milk
That’s it! Just blend and add more Biscoff to taste. This doesn’t make a whole lot (we each had a small glass) but honestly, I don’t think we needed any more. Check out our smooth, rich creations below.
Have you ever made something like this? Have you ever tried Biscoff?
XO,
Amanda
