Life Lately

Hi everyone!

So, life has been quite hectic lately, in a great way! I feel like I haven’t been blogging as much lately, or if I have, it probably hasn’t given you a glimpse into what’s going on in our personal lives. So what have we been up to, you may ask?

Lately, we’ve been doing lots to prepare for my parents and sister coming into town for two weeks! WAHOO does that make me happy! They come in on March 8, and we already have just a ton of fun stuff lined up to do while they are here. So, in preparation for that, we’ve been painting the house (pictures to come), cleaning out and organizing everything, and even adding a bed to our guest room (finally! We have it all decorated, but it has two pull out sofas in it right now. We decided on one pull out sofa and one twin bed to give our guests a choice.)

Besides all of the house-prepping, Mr. R has been settling into his new job! He is working for AT&T at their headquarters here in Atlanta as a Senior Media Production Specialist. He is truly loving it so far, which is such a great added bonus to it being a great job with a HUGE company. We feel really blessed with this!

We’ve also started working out and working on a healthy lifestyle, which is much more time consuming than I thought. I’ve been waking up to work out in the mornings, and then also doing group workouts at work three times a week. I definitely am feeling better, even if I can’t see any changes quite yet!

Another thing keeping us busy is prepping for our FIRST Anniversary! This one just blows my mind! I can’t even believe it’s been a year since we said I Do. It feels like literally a week ago that we were dancing the night away and taking way too many beautiful pictures. In the past year, we’ve had so many amazing memories and done so much together… but there’s a whole post to come with all that mushiness!

Anyway, there you have it! We have been BUSY! But in such a good way. Obviously, besides all that personal stuff, I have lots of good opportunties brewing for the blog and am just working every.single.day to improve this little blog and write. I really do love blogging and am so happy with where I am at right now!!
