So, we celebrated Valentine’s Day this year a few days late (as I’m sure many people did) so that we could make the most of the holiday during the weekend. What did we do to celebrate our first married Valentine’s Day, you may ask? We had FUN!
We had purchased tickets to the FUN concert a while ago, which was Friday night, and had a wonderful time with Mr. R’s brother, Lino and his wife, Suzette. The show was great, and FYI, they sound EXACTLY the same in person as they do on the radio! The concert was held at The Tabernacle, which is an old-church-turned-concert-venue, which is awesome!
We stayed at The Glenn Hotel accross the street to avoid having to drive home after the concert. We enjoyed the Luckie in Love package, which included drinks upon arrival, free valet parking ($28 value) a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, and a delicious breakfast the next day. I would defintely recommend the hotel AND the package- we had so much fun, the hotel was gorgeous and the amenities were superb.
Then, when we woke up on Saturday, we finished out our Valentine’s Day weekend with a trip to The Georgia Aquarium! Mr. R had been wanting to go forever, so this was the perfect timing!! We enjoyed seeing all the animals, plus got tickets to the AT&T Dolphin Tales show. It took us about 4.5 hours to get through the whole thing. We can’t wait to go back when my family is in town in March!
Check out the photo album of our Valentine’s Day weekend below. Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday, as well!
XO,
Amanda
