Hello lovelies!
Can you believe we are only a little over two weeks away from celebrating Love Day? I love Valentine’s Day and everything pink, red and white, so wanted to share a few of my favorite Valentine’s ideas with you all!
Of course, when it comes to actual ideas for what to do with your sweetie on V-Day, you should check out Part 1 and Part 2 of my Date Night ideas (and possibly spruce them up, since Valentine’s Day only comes once a year!) But the ideas below can be nice additions to whatever you have planned, or fun activities and treats for the whole family!
Look at how sweet these pink Valentine’s Day cookies are! You can check out the full recipe here, but they seem super simple to make. Check out ItsyBitsyPaperBlog.com while you are at it, too, for lots of fun ideas!
Another cute sweet treat idea is this cute idea for cute Marshmallow Pops! Just pop each marshmallow on a stick, dip them in pink candy melts, add some sprinkles and let them dry. You can even one-up this idea and tie them into a little candy bouquet. How Sweet 🙂
I love this idea to add a heart banner to your headboard during the Valentine’s Day season. We found something similar at Target for $3, and hung it up in the entry room of our house. The hearts and burlap are so sweet and celebrate the holiday, but aren’t too in-your-face.
Another way to incorporate the banner is to hang it over the mantle, maybe even with a picture or sign for the holiday. To find signs like this, I love checking out T.J.Maxx Home Goods. They always have the best finds, and at super reasonable prices! Or, some of you craftier readers may even be able to DIY a sign like this!
Lastly, I also love this simple-yet-healthy idea to incorporate Valentine’s Day, yet not make you feel like you are going to break the scale afterwards. Using a small heart-shaped cookie cutter, you can quickly and easily cut hearts out of fruit, leaving an adorable mark in the fruit, and then you can use the fruit hearts for kabobs! I love this and think this is such a cute way to display fruit, whether it’s for Valentine’s Day, or a bridal shower or birthday party. Just too cute!
Happy Valentine’s Day to all!
XO,
Amanda
