Hey everyone!
Now that we are in the winter months, tights are essential for transitioning your dresses and skirts and still making them wearable. Am I right or am I right? I’ll admit, I fought off tights for a while in a fit of rebellion of the winter months when I was younger, but now, I absolutely love them and love the way tights and leggings make it a sinch to add a pop of color and fun to your outfit.
So to prove my love for tights, I put together an outfit on Polyvore (side note- have you guys signed up for this site? It rocks!) based around a pair of No nonsense sheer black tights. The outfit I put together would be perfect for my next date night with Mr. R, and would really be a step up from the skinny-jeans-and-blazer look I’ve been rocking since the temps dropped.
What do you guys think of this outfit for a date night look? I think the tourquoise earrings really bring out the fun in an otherwise semi-businessy look, and the booties bring some sass in, too!
As I said, this outfit was based completely around these sheer black leggings, from a brand I recently discovered, called No nonsense tights and leggings. These in particular sell for only $6.99 at Polyvore, but No nonsense sells a ton of styles and colors at food & drug stores, as well as mass retailers, making the purchase super easy! They are a staple for anyone’s closet, and the fact that you can choose from bright colors make these tights FUN, too, even though I chose black 😉 It’s truly style made easy when you throw these tights on!
Of course, this outfit would not be complete without the leggings (unless some dumb dumb wanted to brave the cold with bear legs!) If you like these No nonesense tights (and how could you not? They are essentials!) then make sure you Like No nonsense on Facebook and follow them on Twitter at @benononsense.
