Well, after a LONG, eye-opening, much needed and much enjoyed 10-day trip to Miami and Cuba, we’re back! We had such an amazing trip… The family that I got to meet, the memories we got to make… It was just amazing. It is so crazy to me to think that Mr. R has first cousins, aunts, uncles and his grandparents living there that he hasn’t seen in 15 years.. I can’t even begin to imagine. It really was an eye-opening trip that helped me relish and realize how good we have it here; Not only with the material things that we have, but the liberties and freedoms that we have in this country that we take for granted. Internet, cell phones, cars…. I am not exaggerating here, I met two people with cell phones and zero people with Internet or cars. Can you believe, most people walk or take horse coaches if they need a ride somewhere? Anyway, I plan to do a full post (or two) about the trip, including all the amazing pictures Mr. R took, but I will need a few days to get back into the swing of things, of course 😉 I’m so happy to be back and can’t wait to share more with you all soon!
