Family Holidays Inspiration Reviews and Giveaways Shopping

*Giveaway* Workouts on Demand membership

So, Thanksgiving was fun… as in, I ate my weight in food daily. Now that it’s over, Mr. R and I have been talking about our serious need to get some physical activity in our lives! Well, perfect timing, because I am now going to be doing a review of a website called Workouts On Demand! They have so generously given me a free 6-month membership, so I will be giving it my all for the next 6 months, and then writing a review on my experiences, what I liked, all that good stuff.

So what is Workouts on Demand? This is a great website where you can watch online workout videos or download them to your computer. There are over 170 workout videos to choose from! Workouts on Demand offers 3 monthly membership levels, ranging from $8.99 – $12.99, or you can purchase a 3-month membership for $38 or a 6-month membership for $78, so needless to say it is a super affordable alternative to a gym membership.

What I love about the site is the versatility. You can work out in the morning, at night, in your living room, on the back porch, wherever you can get WiFi! This is perfect for busy people and moms especially, since there isn’t always time to hit the gym or dedicate and hour and a half to working out. Knowing us, we are probably going to get our workouts in in the mornings or in some gap of time at night. Who knows, but I love having the flexibility!

The site also offers Food Tracker Pro, where you can track your food and workouts. I’m going to give this a try (though I have a feeling I am going to be bad at keeping track!) and let you all know how it works. They also have an Ask the Expert feature, which I definitely see myself using!

Workouts on Demand offers a plethora of types of workouts, too. In the main menu before you start a workout, you get to choose between the following categories: Pilates Mat, Yoga & Meditation, Total Body Toning,  Cardio Dance, Cardio Kickboxing, Step Aerobics, Stability Ball and Low Impact Aerobics. SO many choices, I don’t even know where to start!!  I’m going to get started today and I will keep you all posted on the results as I go.

Workouts on Demand has also graciously offered to GIVE AWAY another 6-month membership to one lucky reader. Enter the RaffleCopter giveaway below for your chance to win. I’m switching up the points this time: Now you have 11 chances to win! Post a comment about why you’d love to win a membership for 5 points, Follow The Accidental Mrs and Workouts on Demand on Facebook for another two points each, and Tweet about the giveaway for an extra point (hint: you can do this once each day!) The giveaway will be live until December 17, so make sure you earn as many points as possible!

Enjoy the giveaway, and I can’t wait to keep you all updated on my progress through using Workouts on Demand!

Disclosure:  Although I am not being compensated by Workouts on Demand for posting this review, I did receive a free 6-month membership. All opinions expressed are my own.

I need Workouts on Demand for a number of reasons, the main one being I am the 40-something-ish mother of an extrememly active (and quite adorable) 8 year old. I would love nothing more than to be healthier and more physically fit so I could enjoy doing all of the activities she wants to do. This program would allow me to end my expensive gym membership, which would in turn give me more time to spend with my little girl, since I would not be driving to and from the gym for an hour each time I decide to go. Although I do love the gym, it is quite a distance from my home, so each “gym trip” eats up at least 2 to 3 hours of my day, which explains my recent 10 pound weight gain.
    Anyway, I want it!
