SEC Championship Game is this weekend

The SEC Championship is this weekend (WOO HOO! ROLL TIDE!) ahem… so, in honor of the big game, Mr. R thought it would be fun to invite over his brothers to watch the game. You know what trigger that sets off in my mind- PARTY TIME!

I found the cutest Pin on Pinterest via a blog called 20 Going on 80 that is the end all be all to game day party ideas… See what I mean?

 

Everything is so stinking cute on there, and the blog has a ton of recipes. I am going to have to pull one or two from there. Other than that, on the menu for watching the game is….

Hummus and Pita Chips: No lie, this is the easy stuff. Comes straight from a container and a bag, and everyone loves it 🙂

Pork Sliders: Mr. R is going to make BBQ pork sliders on Hawaiian rolls with a slice of cheddar cheese. YUM!

Sweet Potato fries: Then, we will drizzle them in honey.

A special Bama  cocktail: Haven’t quite thought of this one yet, but I’m thinking something with cranberry juice since it is Crimson. Does anyone have any tasty recipes they can share?

Hope everyone watching the game has fun and roots for Bama! Kidding… you can root for whomever, but may the best team win 😉
