I am SO sorry to (any) loyal readers out there that have noticed a lack of blogging this past week or so. I have been so busy, and while I have wanted so badly to blog, I just couldn’t justify blogging over sleep, unfortunately.
But, I promise to catch up this weekend, starting with some exciting news! No no… no baby on board, if that’s what you were thinking. I am, however, making a career move! I have accepted a job with RaceTrac Petroleum as their Associate Manager of External Communications, starting in just a few weeks.
So, hopefully that explains my absentee blogging lately. I’ve been working so much to ensure that I leave Edelman with all my work buttoned up and good to pass off, and haven’t been left with much time for anything! While I have absolutely loved my time with Edelman these past two years, and have learned so incredibly much, this is definitely the right move for me, and my family. I am so excited for new beginnings, and so excited to meet my new co-workers, decorate my new desk of course, and start on this journey.
I’m going to miss my Edelman friends so much but know we will stay in touch and cross paths sooner than we even think!
I’ll be sure to give you all a recap after my first week!
