Hey yall!
I love DIY projects. Literally, any time I have a free day I am thinking of different projects I could be doing! So when it came time to thinking up decor for the wedding, it was a no-brainer that we’d incorporate lots of our own touches. In fact, this feature in Houston Wedding Blog called our wedding a “charming wedding with DIY touches.”
So, I’m showcasing some of my favorite DIY touches from the wedding. Disclaimer that this is not all of the projects we did, and another disclaimer that not all of these were done strictly by me and Mr. R. We had a lot of help from sweet family and friends 🙂
Enjoy!
Amanda

All of our paper goods (invitations, programs, Save the Dates, thank you cards) were created and designed by Mr. R and all are now for sale on his Etsy shop 🙂

We ordered our favorst on TheKnot.com, then created thank you notes that were attached with twine. My sister-in-law, Jaclyn, wrote all the names on these!

We used chalboards throughout the wedding that we bought at Michale’s. Yes, that is even my own handwriting.

Our centerpieces were all made from wine bottles we collected during our engagement (friends and family helped!) and the corks were collected by our MOH.

This wedding wall was situated as you walked into the venue and housed some of our favorite family photos on twine with clothespins.
