Recipe: Banana Smores!

Hi yall!

This post deserves to start with a YUM! Mr. R recently got a new grill, so I had been scouring Pinterest for great grilling recipes, when I stumbled up this gem… a recipe for banana smores via  QuickDish. Like I said- YUM!

This dessert was so quick and easy to make! I would highly recommend it. It should take about 10 minutes of prep time, and only about 2-3 minutes on the grill. Here’s everything you need:

– Bananas

– Small marshmallows

– Chocolate chips

– Biscoff Crackers (crumbled), or, the original recipe says you can use Cinnamon Toast Crunch, too!

– Vanilla Ice Cream

Once I had everything out, I made sure I had my recipe up (which I didn’t even need!)

First, prep everthing you are going to need. Crumble the cookies, have the chocolate chips and marshmallows on standby, and cut a slit down the length of the banana. Oh, and you should have your grill pre-heated too, to medium heat.

Once you are prepped, stuff the bananas with chocolate chips and marshmallows. Try not to let them break all the way down, or you’ll end up with a sandwich like I did! If that does indeed happen, you can use toothpicks to hold it together.

Once they are stuffed, roll them up and stick them on the grill for 2-3 minutes.

Here’s what they “should” turn out like. I didn’t get a good after picture (because we just wanted to eat!!), but I promise I will try it again soon and post one then!  Once they are done “grilling” simply unwrap and top with a scoop of ice cream. Then, enjoy!

Talk soon!
